About Picture This Video

At Picture This Video, we provide video solutions and strategies to small to medium-sized enterprises, associations, and organizations to ensure their videos get visibility and the desired results. We are a woman-owned business that offers script-to-screen services. We use HD cameras and Adobe’s video post-production suite. Our company has been operational since 1997 and we started by covering personal events.

To concentrate more on business, we discontinued the personal event branding in 2003. This was done to better serve the clients in the corporate and organizational space. Our focus has always been on non-fiction media. Educational institutions and non-profits are areas that we serve the best! In 2018, the organization added a video marketing strategy to its list of services.

Our business has evolved over the years, and it has witnessed the changing trends of the industry. When we started this business, we used to distribute videos on VHS tapes, and now our videos can be found on Twitch, Hulu, social media platforms, YouTube, and business websites.

Thanks to the outpouring love of our clients we tend to be busy throughout the year, with a slight dip around Christmas and August. We operate in the Metro DC area, within a 25-mile radius of Fairfax, VA. We cover Montgomery County and Prince George’s County in Maryland; Fairfax, Alexandria, Loudoun, Arlington counties in Virginia; and Washington DC.

The Picture This Video Difference

We genuinely try to support businesses by incorporating our videos organically in their own marketing process. We strive to stay ahead of the game so that our clients may stay ahead of their competitors.

What sets us apart from the rest of our competitors is our consistency. Other companies may create YouTube videos for their customers, but is it truly cost-effective to produce one video if the aim is business growth? We don’t want our clients to produce just one video per year because that isn’t enough to make a significant impact online. We collaborate with our clients to create strategies and incorporate their ideas in all stages of the production process. We believe in producing results. Our marketing partners assists by keeping track of the results if our clients don’t have a marketing team in place.

Customers choose us because of our integrity, punctuality, and reasonable, transparent pricing. We truly wish to assist our clients in making better use of videos. If we don’t believe that video is an ideal medium to fulfill their objectives, we let them know that. Our work is based on collaboration with our clients. We consider our clients our “content experts” We like to think of Picture This Video as the “creativity experts”. Our collaborative production process keeps our clients involved along the way- they know when we are planning to do specific things, and they also know when we are expecting their feedback. And we make the feedback process EASY for them.

One of our biggest achievements has been a virtual event we produced for a non-profit client that raised $14,000, more than their previous in-person fundraising events. The pandemic had just hit the world. We pivoted and created a remote recording procedure (without using Zoom) within the first 30 days of the outbreak. If needed, we would send a video kit to our clients who required it.

Our dream for the future is to help our clients create more video content- whether that’s for YouTube, social media, the small screen, or the giant convention hall screen. Our content is already available as e-learning courses, YouTube videos, and virtual events and will continue to expand in the future. We are currently working with some of our clients on a yearly contract model to deliver video production services.

We also believe in giving back to society, and as part of that belief, we have a special place in our hearts for non-profits. Sharon has been involved in community service work her entire life. She started in community service as a Brownie Girl Scout! Picture This Video pays it forward by providing a 10% discount on all non-profit invoices to make a little difference from our end.
