We asked Sharon to produce a video featuring residents and life at The Old Soldiers Home. The home is/was closed to the public during Covid so Sharon had to work with the residents remotely. Pre-production
Keeping your budget and timelines in mind, we’ll develop a script that allows you to “picture this video” for your evaluation and approval. We can also use your prepared script, or use it as a starting point. The scripting process will shape a shot list and identify what crew roles we’ll need to provide.

Production
Once the final script is approved, and deposit is received, production will start! We’ll conduct the shoot and obtain any additional imagery or media that’s been identified.

Post-production
We can electronically send you versions of the video as it gets edited, giving you the opportunity to provide feedback on any spot in the video without you having to spend hours in the edit suite so you can focus on the other important things you have to get done! We’ll provide any version of the finished video you need: whether it’s formatted for social media, a big screen, or website delivery.

Can you do scriptwriting, too?
Yes! We can do the scriptwriting, or we can start with what you have and make it better for video.
What elements can you do, and what do we need to hire someone else for?
Picture This Video is a full-service video production company, so when it comes to that, you don’t need to look any further!
Are you putting my video on YouTube for me?
No, but if you tell us you intend to put it on YouTube, we’ll make sure it’s formatted for that. We do not host videos for our clients. When you have finalized your video, you will be given the resolution and formatted video for how and where you intend to use it, as indicated in your proposal and contract. We will help you as much as we can with further uses of it, whether it’s embedding it in a newsletter or website, uploading it to social media, showing it in a great big conference setting, etc.
What if I decide I want another version later, or need it updated? How do you handle that?
We have a very large media server, and still have client projects from more than 15 years ago. All projects are backed up regularly, as well. We would never get rid of your project without your knowledge. And we don’t charge storage fees.
What if we change our mind on something after we’ve signed a contract?
All contracts come with a “Change of Scope” page. This page outlines any changes that you might request that would affect the project’s cost by more than 10%. If you need changes that impact the price in that manner, we’ll talk to you about it, and if you agree, we’ll outline these prices and the new total on the “Change of Scope” form, which will require your signature before we proceed.
Can you do photography, too?
We have photography partners, but we do not book ourselves as both photographer and videographer for the same shoot. If you need something more than a screen grab from our footage, or a cell phone behind-the-scenes image, it’s best that we book a separate photographer for your job, so that we can fully concentrate on the primary role of videographer you booked us for!
