I’m Sharon Sobel, the proud owner of Picture This Video. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
I have been interested in television since I was around fifteen years old in high school, where I took a two-year course. I continued my education with a communications and television production degree from Radford University.

My first job was as a production assistant at a local cable company. We covered high school sports games, parades, concerts, and some of the less exciting city meetings and studio productions. The experience exposed me to all of the challenges, environments and skills needed for different kinds of programs, and I loved it.

Fast forward to today. I’ve been in business since 1997 and launched my company as a full-time venture in 2003. In 2018, we added strategic video marketing to complement our video production services and to better serve our clients.

I love the creativity I lend to the videography and editing aspects of my projects. That is the best part of my job. The most rewarding part of owning Picture This Video is my ability to manage my schedule and time while creating video solutions for my clients that are targeted, engaging and authentic.

My business philosophy is based on careful planning in the production and distribution process and a special concentration on delivering the best ROI for clients.

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my integrity, transparency, and fairness. I keep my clients informed about the process and the costs all along the way, so there are no shocking revelations at the end.

I attribute my success to always keeping an ear to the ground on best practices and trends in video production techniques and my ability to evolve with my clients’ needs.

Creating my first annual video services contract for a non-profit client was a moment that gave me immense satisfaction.

When I am not at work, in my free time, I love to cook, entertain, and spend time with my friends. I also love to travel, and I was able to do a working vacation in Panama earlier this year. This meant regular workdays, with a considerably better view and vacation-style nights and weekends.

I also believe in giving back to society, and as part of that belief am involved in community service and offer non-profits a 10% discount on their projects, no questions asked.

If you or someone you know could benefit from our expertise in video production and video marketing, I invite you to get in touch. We are a woman-owned, full-service video production provider specializing in corporate, educational and event video strategies and solutions.

Our services include video production, marketing, post-production, freelance teleprompter services, etc. We see clients from across Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, Manassas, Virginia, Washington D.C., Northern Virginia, Washington Metropolitan Area (Metro DC area) and the surrounding areas.
